IELTS is the English language test for higher education and is the most popular and accepted English language test worldwide. If you are an international student you will need IELTS to show you are proficient in the English language to get admission to study at UK universities or for work purposes.

Course Detail

During your course you will take classes that will prepare you for your IELTS examination for academic purposes. You will be made familiar with tasks in reading, writing, speaking and listening and will be taught strategies and given tips on how to be successful in these areas. You will also be given support to improve your vocabulary and grammar.

You will gain the knowledge and confidence to take on your IELTS test.

It is not necessary that you have done IELTS before, but your level of English must be minimum pre-intermediate level. If you have taken IELTS before then you should have achieved at least band 4.5 to enrol on the course.

Towards the end of the course you will do an internal IELTS test in the class to see what level you have achieved and see if you are ready to book an IELTS test.

When you have taken your IELTS test and received your score you can progress onto the foundation programmes at WE or move onto your chosen university.

We offer small classes to ensure that you receive much attention from your tutor as possible. We give out homework to keep students minds working after college hours.

Unfortunately, we do not offer weekend or evening classes.

For the sake of your education, we advise you to wait till you have completed your course to go on holiday. However, you can request an emergency leave if required.

Yes, we will offer you support in finding you the right accommodation.

When you complete the application form, you will complete an initial assessment to assign you a level. If you are a student abroad, one of our team members will call you and arrange the assessment.

No, there is no uniform. However, we ask that you dress appropriately as you would in a academic environment.

You will need to bring a notebook, pen and your course book.

Once you have completed the course, you can progress onto the next level.

If your child is over the age of 18, they can join our English Language classes.
